Refund and Returns Policy

At Northstar Correctional Supply LLC, doing business as Northstar Corr (“Northstar Corr,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide our customers with quality correctional and facility supplies. Due to the nature of our products, many items are not eligible for return once shipped. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Policy

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on consumable items such as hygiene products, clothing, bedding, or other items intended for personal or facility use.
  • Exceptions may be made for defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items (see Section 2).

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect:

  1. Notify us within 7 business days of delivery.
  2. Provide order details and photos of the issue to admin@northstarcorr.com
  3. Upon verification, we will provide instructions for return or replacement.
  • Replacement products will be shipped at no additional cost.
  • Refunds (if approved) will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Hygiene and consumable products (soap, toothpaste, cleaning supplies, etc.).
  • Apparel (including uniforms, undergarments, and footwear).
  • Mattresses, bedding, and soft goods.
  • Special-order or custom-fabricated products.
  • Security hardware and equipment.

4. Restocking Fee

For eligible returns (when pre-approved), a 20% restocking fee may apply. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

5. Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item).
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns.

6. Refunds (If Applicable)

  • Refunds will only be issued once the returned product has been inspected and approved.
  • Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
